Designed and handcrafted in a small studio, ‘The Silver Dragonfly Boutique’ in Yungaburra, Far North Queensland, each piece of jewellery is created with attention to detail and a love for the craft. Practically and sustainability play a large part in the creative process, developing beautiful timeless wearable art.
Meet the designer
At a young age Justene Mackenzie loved Gem hunting, she went fossicking with her family to Lightning Ridge, Yowa & Rubyvale and was always happy to find ‘treasure’. When she was a teenager, Justene joined a Lapidary Club and learned basic gem cutting and Silversmithing, she left it all behind until her 30’s, when she decided to make jewellery again. Buying the basic tools and equipment, she started once again, to create with precious metals and gemstones.
