Justene Mackenzie loved gem hunting from a young age. She would go fossicking with her family to areas such as Lightning Ridge, Yowa, and Rubyvale, and was always happy to bring home some ‘treasure.’ As a teenager, Justene joined the local Lapidary Club to learn about gem cutting and silversmithing before life taking her on a different journey. As an adult, Justene decided to rediscover the joy she found making jewellery, and has been creating bespoke pieces with precious metals and gemstones for over 15 years.
